Community Guidelines

A useful, welcoming place for the people who care about racing and horses.

Effective / updated October 25, 2026

Respect people and horses

Discuss ideas and practices without attacking people. No threats, harassment, hateful abuse, bullying, sexual exploitation, graphic cruelty for shock value, or encouragement of abuse. Honest disagreement is welcome; persistent targeting and dogpiling are not.

Use your username responsibly

Individual members may use a public handle; businesses may use an authorized business name. Do not impersonate staff, a professional, a farm or another member. Do not post someone else’s identity, email, phone, home address, private records or screenshots of private conversations without an appropriate basis and permission. A username is not a promise of complete anonymity.

Keep posts useful and truthful

Share questions, experience, news links, opportunities and industry discussion. Separate first-hand facts from opinions and allegations. Do not fabricate credentials, reviews, endorsements or results, and do not present unverified accusations as established fact. Disclose a financial or business connection when recommending your own services or products. Avoid repetitive promotions, irrelevant links and engagement manipulation.

Post and share only what you may publish

Use media and files you own or have permission to share. Link to publisher articles rather than uploading complete paid articles or someone else’s photos. Remove private information and document metadata before uploading. Do not distribute malware, pirated content or sensitive identity, financial or veterinary documents. See Media & Copyright.

Posts, comments, reactions and marketplace shares

New discussion posts are reviewed before publication. Comments and threaded replies on published posts may appear immediately and can be moderated later. Like and Unlike controls let members add or remove their own reactions. An approved marketplace listing or business profile may also appear in the feed and link to the original listing. Do not repeat a removed post or use another account to evade restrictions.

Messages, reports and blocking

Private conversations begin through a relevant inquiry, rather than unrestricted direct messaging. Use the Report option on a post, comment, message or account when available. Account blocking prevents further inquiry contact between the two accounts; it does not guarantee that publicly available content becomes invisible or that someone cannot create another account. Reports should be truthful and specific.

How moderation works

Administrators may reject, hide or remove content, close replies, lock discussions, review a reported conversation with logged access, or restrict an account. Reports do not automatically prove misconduct. If you believe a decision was mistaken, request an appeal with the relevant link and a concise explanation. See Safety & Reporting. The website is not monitored as an emergency service; seek local emergency assistance for an immediate danger.
